If you ask me, I believe the NHL gave way too long a time period for fans to vote.
This should have been maybe a 1 week thing, in that case most of the casual fans will go and vote, and in 1 week's time things like scripts or whatever won't have time to develop.
Ah well, for now we just gotta keep voting.

This "the NHL is rigged" theory doesn't hold much weight for Gonchar and MAF, yes maybe they'd rig it to get Crosby or Malkin in but there's no way they'd rig it to get MAF in over Carey IN Montreal.
The Pens fans are cheating somehow or doing something but I have a very hard time believing the NHL is rigging this.

Something fishy is going on, but I highly doubt the NHL themselves has anything to do with it - otherwise Ovechkin would be in over Kovalev & Price would be in over Fleury. The very idea that a guy who hasnt even played a single minute of hockey this season could be out ANY of the other defensmen on that list is an embarrassment to the game.

Take the time to set up (duplicate) 10, 20 or 100 addresses for '81812' group them, and then draft (save as draft) the text message 'Canadiens', and just keep recalling the draft and resending it to the group -- 10/20/100 votes every few seconds. That's what the Pens, Ducks and Hawks fans have been doing (but for their teams

).

That said, if Fleury makes the cut as a starting goalie, that means Tim Thomas or Carey Price or Henrik Lundqvist or Mike Smith or Ryan Miller or Alex Auld will not, because there's only three slots for goalies. Which really sort of sucks for a guy like Auld.
EDIT : Sorry I lost the source :
http://sports.yahoo.com/nhl/blog/puck_dadd...?urn=nhl,130739Price is the only one capable of being voted in at this point. That means two of the other five have a decent chance of being selected. If Fleury makes it in, Price goes back into the pool, giving everyone else less of a chance. When it comes to selections, hometown will add weight to Price's statistics. The other goaltenders only have the statistics to speak for them.
My money is on Price being selected even if he doesn't get voted in as the starter. If Fleury is voted in, that makes the East goaltenders Fleury, Price and gives
your favorite goaltender a 1/5 chance. When you add in Luongo or any other respected goaltender, those odds drop even further.
