With freetxt.ca, I got the text message.

okay i think i figgured out how these sites work when you enter the number you have to select the provider that the recepient uses.. so if you sent a text to you self using either site...you had to select your own provider if you didnt you would not recieve the text.

so question now remains who does the nhl use

Anyways the main issue is finding a site that will accept the 81812 number, most sites require a 10 didgit number, freetxt was different as it seemed to have accepted the 81812 numer which is only 5 didgits instead of the 10 + no anti spam questoin

With matezap.com and text2day.com, I entered Fido (my provider) and never got the texts..Freetext.ca is the only one that worked.

Nevermind, txt2day.com worked (about 5 minute wait for delivery), but there is still the anti-spam question.

yeah me too.. problem is freetxt wonèt work any more for the firefox plug that lets you vote over and over while away from your pc.

we need a new site that does.

yeah because freking pens fans have unlimted texting and we donèt we had a site and now we donèt basicly we got screwed again

i'm just wondering how we managed to comeback so well the last couple days if freetxt did not work, thats all a lot of us were doing.

And if freetxt does work, all you have to do is stop the page before it loads completely with the copyright stuff and fill it in and it works.

OKAY if freetxt works but you have to stop it before it fully loads can you record that action then loop it so the plug in will work

I got a text from rogers saying i wasnt subscribed to Email to SMS so that may be why freetxt.ca wasnt working for me, i'm going to go out on a limb and just do the firefox loop in 10 windows on 3 computers at my house

I just hope that those free texting programs really work because with all the voting we,ve been doing using those programs, if it doesnt work, it means that there,s absolutely no votes going to Carey while we could have been voting the whole time on the NHL.com website and be ''assured'' (if Buttman doesnt take our votes away...) that Carey really get those votes
