Says who? What rule is there you must vote for your fav team and players? I'm a diehard Habs fan, always have been and always will be, but I'm also a realist when it comes to evaluating players and in an All-Star game I want to reward guys who worked their tails off and produced all year.

We shuld arange a vote swap with the Western confrence Canadian team fans.

If someone has a membership on the Flames board and/or HFboards flames thread.. See if their fans would be willing to vote for Habs players.. In exchange we will vote for Iginla and Phanuef as they have a shot given the current standings.

If you have a membership to the Oilers board and/or the HFBoards Oilers thread see if Oilers fans would be willing to vote for Canadiens players in excahnge we would vote for Souray since he has a shot too.

And lastly if you have a membership on the Canucks board and or the HFBoards Canucks thread see if they would be willing to vote for our guys in exchange for votes for Loungo and the Sedins.

We then all vote for our 6 players as well as Iginla, the Sedins, Phanuef, Souray and Loungo. And we get a boast from their fans.

dude its a all star game.. Your taking it far too seriously. You are free tyo vote your heart and I have no problem with the way you voted but lighten up.

The All Star game is ultimatley for the fans first. And if the fans will is to have a All Habs starting line up at the expense of the more entitled like Crosby then so be it.

If Montreal fans care more because of the 100 years or being host then they deserve to have their players in for putting forward the effort.

The Crosbys and Ovechkins will be named by the coaches anyway.

Uh? Tanguay is by far my first choice in the Canadiens forward to make the All Star game, i don't think your watching the same hockey as i am obviously.

Tanguay and Markov are the only 2 players in the canadiens in their prime, end of the story.

It's not the end of the world that the 6 canadiens listed make the starting lineup.

And the Semin, Crosby, Ovechkin of this world are still gonna make the All star game easily, so i don't see where the big deal at all.

I never said he wasn't playing good, but he wasn't playing like a first-team All-Star.

I know it won't be the end of the world but thats just my opinoin on how this matters should be handled, I don't believe in fan stuffing.

I'm sure they will make it, but I think a great first half should be rewarded with a starting job.

well, you are right, i dont think we should need any automatic program, i went 3 times yesterday to vote manually, will probably do so again today, I think if every Habs fan just go and vote we can get them in without any needs for those, and it would be even more of a legit victory.
