I was thinking almost the exact same thing.. except I think Latandresse will keep is roll going with another goal instead of Striet. and I see price making 41 saves.

But I still like the 3-2 call and the goals by Kostitsyn and Kovalev

As a Habs devotee living in Michigan, tonight's game is THE game for me. I have supported the Red Wings since I moved here in '00, but rediscovered my passion for the Habs when I purchased the Dish Network NHL Center Ice Package last year and had the opportunity to see all of their games. Based on current results, the Habs really need a good performance tonight, which will be difficult because the Red Wings are playing out of their mind. I would be most happy with a close Habs win.

Price is up for a HUGE game. this will be a big turning point for us if we can pull it off, and really give the kid a boost.

Habs are tied for sixth right now.


This is an important game and losing is not an option.

This is winnable. Detroit has only 3 games in the month of November where they beat the other teams by more then two goals and only one was away from home. Out of there last 6 on the road they have lost 4 so if there is a weakness it's on the road.

We need to capitalize early and never look back. Carbo has to actively manage the game which means at 10:00 minutes in the third if we are up 4-1 he has to keep his pulse on the momentum and do whatever it takes to get the regulation win.

Of course the players need to play hard and with pride as well.

This is one of those games that I am curious to see how we stack up against one of the top teams in the NHL, can we run with them or are we going to give up before the game starts?

Well I guess another loss is in the books, montreal might as well just hand over the two points and save themselves the humilation. I precit around 3-0 4-0 wings. Price will be good but the boys will be brutal..once again.

The habs will get like 14 shots the whole game, and hasek will get another easy win against montreal.

In this poll Carey price is reffered to as Jesus P. I have scene him reffered to Jesus Price through out this site aswell.

As a practising Roman Catholic I find this offensive.. I am not easly offend but I don't like seeing my Lord and Saviours named used to describe a Hockey Player no matter how much I may love said player.

There are plenty of names we could use to describe Carey Price but that is not nessiacery. In my religion we are taught not to worship false Gods.. This is dificult as sports fans as we often get caught up in our support of players and teams.. But I do feel you have to draw the line somewhere and this is it..

I will admit that a while ago I would have fallen right into this activity as well. However I have found myself with a deeper comitmit to my church and my faith.. I wouldn't call myself a Born again Christian because my faith nevear died but I would say it has been renewed..

Mike I almost always agree with you but I can't agree with you here.. I do believe that we live in a overly P.C. society... but when something is directly disrespectful to a religion. And then someone of that religion has specficfuly told his people to please find a more approriate term becuse they are offended, and subsequnetly than is not respected.... Having started and having ran a successful forum with over 7000 members and over 2 million posts before I got bored of it and gave it away, I always respected the members views on religion. Therefore I agree completely that if a member is feeling overwhelmed or his religion is being disrespected then something has to be done about it. I support TORHABSFAN.


As for tonight's game, I'm hoping we see better things out of our boys. I know they'll be fired up and come out flying in the first. My main concern is if they'll maintain that intensity throughout the game.
